Project: Statistical Analysis

XPERT Health Training & Education Ltd, trading as X-PERT Health, is incorporated in England and Wales and is a registered charity (no.1143561).  It is committed to providing X-PERT Educator courses to healthcare professionals to develop their competencies in evidence-based diabetes care and enable them to deliver structured patient education to people with diabetes.

DDL Insight were briefed with a project to provide statistical analysis for an important health programme that X-PERT Health run for diabetes.  The findings of the analysis would be presented to 3,000 medical professionals at an industry conference and the results published in a medical journal.

The analysis included computation of a variety of medical data. DDL Insight evaluated clinical outcomes and the differences between baseline and post course records.   SPSS was utilised for the purposes of the statistical calculation method.  Our skilled analysts ran various tests in order to ensure results were statistically safe.  Trend tracking over time was calculated and results included the confidence interval and p-value scores.  Results were utilised in order to ascertain the significance the health programme had on the data sample.  The results presented to the client were provided in both tabular and graphical format.

These results provided scientific evidence of the benefits of being on the health programme.  The findings were presented at the industry conference and the results were published in an important medical journal.  The client was impressed with the initial prompt understanding of the requirement by the DDL Insight team, the excellent management of the project and the fast and professional turn around of results that met with the tight deadline date requirement.
